Basic provisions

The operator of this website is the controller of personal data under Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “GDPR”).

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person. The controller has not appointed a data protection officer.

Sources and categories of personal data processed

The controller processes personal data you have provided, or personal data obtained in the course of fulfilling your order.

The controller processes your identification and contact details and the data necessary to perform the contract.

The legal basis for processing personal data is

  • performance of the contract between you and the controller under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR,
  • the controller’s legitimate interest in providing direct marketing (in particular for sending commercial communications and newsletters) under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR,
  • your consent to processing for the purposes of direct marketing (in particular for sending commercial communications and newsletters) under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in conjunction with Section 7(2) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, where no goods or services have been ordered.

The purpose of processing personal data is

  • handling your order and exercising the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller; when placing an order, the personal data necessary to complete it successfully are required (name and address, contact details). Providing personal data is a necessary requirement for concluding and performing the contract; without it, the contract cannot be concluded or performed by the controller,
  • sending commercial communications and carrying out other marketing activities.

The controller does not carry out automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR.

Retention period

The controller retains personal data

  • for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller and to assert claims arising from those contractual relationships (for 15 years from the end of the contractual relationship),
  • until consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes is withdrawn, for a maximum of 10 years, where personal data are processed on the basis of consent.

Once the retention period has elapsed, the controller erases the personal data.

Recipients of personal data (the controller’s subcontractors)

Recipients of personal data are persons

  • involved in delivering goods and services and in processing payments under the contract,
  • providing services for the operation of the e-shop and other services in connection with its operation,
  • providing marketing services.

The controller intends to transfer personal data to a third country (a country outside the EU) or to an international organisation (for example Google). Recipients of personal data in third countries are providers of mailing services and cloud services.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR you have

  • the right of access to your personal data under Article 15 of the GDPR,
  • the right to rectification of personal data under Article 16 of the GDPR, or to restriction of processing under Article 18 of the GDPR,
  • the right to erasure of personal data under Article 17 of the GDPR,
  • the right to object to processing under Article 21 of the GDPR,
  • the right to data portability under Article 20 of the GDPR,
  • the right to withdraw consent to processing, in writing or electronically, at the address or email address of the controller given on the contact page.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection if you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed.

Personal data security

The controller declares that it has taken all appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data.

The controller has taken technical measures to secure its data storage and its storage of personal data in paper form, in particular encrypted communication.

The controller declares that only persons authorised by it have access to personal data.

Final provisions

By submitting an order through the online order form you confirm that you are familiar with the personal data protection conditions and that you accept them in full.

You agree to these conditions by ticking the consent box in the online form. By ticking it you confirm that you are familiar with the personal data protection conditions and accept them in full.

The controller is entitled to change these conditions. It will publish a new version of the personal data protection conditions on its website, or send you the new version to the email address you provided to the controller.

These conditions take effect on 25 May 2018.
